A Full Weekend of Family Fun with Street Chalk Art created by Regional School Student Artists! 

Their chalk street art will amaze and inspire you. Something to slow down and watch unfold as they map out, design and sketch their colorful drawings. Satisfy your hunger for artistic beauty in the pristine Kayenta Art Village nestled beneath the stunning red rock mountain range. A perfect setting with the sights, smells and sounds of spring, good food, street artists, & entertainment. 

SATURDAY • Sketches of the works & student competition, food vendors and on-site entertainment begins 9am–5pm.

SUNDAY • Local professional artists and students complete their masterpieces. Awards are announced. Fun and pride is had by all who participate and attend this annual festival, 9am-4pm.

Art Exhibits Inside the Center for the Arts Lobby 2020–2021

November 2020: Watercolor; alcohol ink, ink, gouache
2-month run: November 1––December 29, 2020

Theme: “Liquid Color"

January 2021: Drawing Exhibit; charcoal, graphite, pastel, silverpoint, etc.
2-month run: January 2––February 23, 2021

Theme: “Self Portrait”

March 2021: Open to all mediums
2-month run: February 26––April 20, 2021

Theme: “Anything Goes”

May 2021: Fiber Arts and Ceramics
