You are constantly being observed and studied.

Your face will be remembered for years if you offer a gesture of kindness. The same applies if you act inappropriately. We’re not talking about camera surveillance, we’re talking about crows. Ninety percent of the world’s crow population lives within three miles of human settlements. Even though many people don’t like crows, ravens—their close relatives—or magpies, these birds thrive in our cities, on our farms, and in our parks. Noted lecturer and astronomer Ron Smith will help us identify the differences between crows and ravens, as well as explain how these extraordinary birds rival the chimpanzee and orangutan in overall intelligence.

An informal social gathering begins at 6 pm. Enjoy light appetizers and beverages, mingling and conversation. Make new friends and see old ones, stretch your minds and enjoy the community that the Center for the Arts is gathering…one event, lecture, story, concert and show at a time!

The Voyager Lecture Series is Sponsored by Voyager Wealth Management; Cache Valley Bank and State Farm Insurance (Sherry McGhee agent).
