Movie Night at Kayenta : Unfinished Song

November 19, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Unfinished Song

Movie Night at Kayenta

UNFINISHED SONG is the funny and uplifting story of Arthur (Terence Stamp), a
curmudgeon old soul perfectly content with sticking to his dull daily routine until
his beloved wife (Vanessa Redgrave) introduces him to a spirited local singing
group led by the youthful and charming Elizabeth (Gemma Arterton). This
unexpected friendship and his discovery of music revitalizes Arthur's passion for
new adventures and shows us all life should be celebrated at any age.

Kayenta Arts Foundation’s (KAF’s) Movie Nights at Kayenta will be showing films from the private collection of Richard Kinsman, a resident of Kayenta. Richard loved movies and had a private collection of over 2,500 films. He had hoped to hold regular movie nights as a fundraising activity for KAF as well as a way for people to connect. Richard did not live to see his vision come to life, but we think he’d be very happy to know that his generous donation of his collection is still raising funds and bringing people together.

The movie is free and open to the public with the fun starting at 7:30pm on November 19th. There will be bottled water, soda, popcorn, candy, and other concessions available for sale. Bring some cash to make a donation to help pay for licensing and labor costs. Everyone is welcome!

Seating is First come, First Serve.
Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated as they help pay for the licensing fees for the movie!

SOCIAL DISTANCE SEATING CHART

Knowing that the presence of art in our lives is essential, we are re-opening our doors in a healthy, safe way. The state may be at the Yellow Phase but we are maintaining the more strict Orange Phase Guidelines for Theaters.

Re-opening guidelines for all performances at the Center for the Arts at Kayenta:

  1. Social distance seating between all ticket groups (SEE SEAT MAP TO LEFT) Please purchase tickets in groups of two or more with family and friends if possible
  2. Temperature checks of all performers before each performance
  3. Mandatory mask wearing for all audience members and front of house staff
  4. Multiple hand sanitizing stations in the Center
  5. Disinfectant cleaning of theater seats, lobby and rest room surfaces after each performance
  6. Cash free transactions, we encourage online ticket purchases directly on our site.

“Only when we all feel safe will we be able to free our spirits to participate with the art being performed.”
