Kate MacLeod Concert
January 14, 2023 @ 7:30 pm
$10 – $30
Awarded “Best of the West” by the Far-West division of Folk Alliance International.
“It may be about Utah but the experiences and sentiments should touch a chord with communities far beyond its borders, while the music and her songs assuredly make this one of the best Americana albums you’ll encounter this year.”
Mike Davies, Fatea/UK
Americana musician Kate MacLeod brings music to you through her original songs, instrumentals, and creative renditions of traditional and popular music. Since her first recording (produced by Charles Sawtelle of Hot Rize) her songs have been recorded by other artists from California to the Czech Republic. Kate has toured in the United States, Canada, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, and the UK. She was chosen for the Best of the West Award, 2019, by the Far-West division of the Folk Alliance International.
Kate will perform her music on guitar, violin, mountain dulcimer and harmonica; accompanied by Mark Hazel, vocal/guitarist; Mandy Danzig, multi instrumentalist; and Jim Stout, bass.
This project is supported in part by Utah Arts & Museums, with funding from the State of Utah and the National Endowment for the Arts.
