November 7th @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Amanda Barrick Unplugged:

Dressed Down Acoustic Concert with Steve & Album Favorites

Acoustic Favorites from New Album “Wastelands”
with Steve Stay

She’s back, this time with her best music to-date—favorite cuts from “Wastelands”—an amazing, sweeping, yet intimate, delicate masterpiece. You can read a review and discussion of the album with Amanda on St. George News.

Amanda Barrick is an Americana folk musician and spoken word artist. Her live performances are emotive, intimate and powerful. As a singer-songwriter she lends her voice to expressing truths with an evocative story-telling style through music and poetry. She writes music that is honest, music that connects us and music that is representative of the world we live in.

When Amanda isn’t pursuing music, she can be found in her workshop hand-crafting merchandise, on the trails with her girlfriend in gorgeous Southern Utah or bootstrapping solo travel adventures. To find out more about Amanda, head to AmandaBarrick.com!

Long-time collaborator and friend Steven Stay will join Amanda on the 7th. Steven is a veteran St. George musician and has been organizing virtual open mic concerts since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Something he said he started as a way to help him continue to share his music. “If I can share what I’ve learned, I can help them be able to expand their reach and stay busy during the shutdown,” Stay said.

SOCIAL DISTANCE SEATING CHART

Knowing that the presence of art in our lives is essential, we are re-opening our doors in a healthy, safe way. The state may be at the Yellow Phase but we are maintaining the more strict Orange Phase Guidelines for Theaters.

Re-opening guidelines for all performances at the Center for the Arts at Kayenta:

  1. Social distance seating between all ticket groups (SEE SEAT MAP TO LEFT) Please purchase tickets in groups of two or more with family and friends if possible.
  2. Temperature checks of ALL patrons and performers will be taken upon entrance into the center.
  3. Mandatory mask wearing for all audience members and front of house staff.
  4. Multiple hand sanitizing stations in the Center.
  5. Disinfectant cleaning of theater seats, lobby and rest room surfaces after each performance.
  6. Cash free transactions, we encourage online ticket purchases directly on our site.

“Only when we all feel safe will we be able to free our spirits to participate with the art being performed.”
