February 22 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The Staggering Story of the Jan Broberg Kidnappings Comes to Kayenta
Center for the Arts at Kayenta and DOCUTAH present a screening of Abducted In Plain Sight, the twisting, turning, stranger-than-fiction true story of Jan Broberg, and her family, a naive, church-going Idaho family that fell under the spell of a sociopathic neighbor with designs on their twelve-year-old daughter. Jan is currently the Director of the Center for the Arts at Kayenta. Abducted In Plain Sight arrived on Netflix in January 2019.
Join us for an evening of courage, education and, most importantly, hope for the future with the screening of this remarkable film, followed by a Q&A with Jan Broberg, Executive Director, Center for the Arts at Kayenta, Kristy Pike, Director, Children’s Justice Center and Lindsey Boyer, Executive Director, Dove Center and Adela Pincock, Community Engagement and Development Director.
