A Night at the Beluga
June 25th @ 8:00 pm - June 26th @ 8:00 pm$25 – $150
You’re invited to the world of the speakeasy, bootleggers, raccoon coats, bathtub gin, flappers, flagpole sitters, marathon dancers, and live music. This June, it’s Soul. Soul What!?
Local vocal powerhouse Alice Ericksen brings her longtime group Soul What!? to serenade the heartbreaker or heartbroken in you, to the backdrop of hor d’oeuvres, cocktails, gourmet desserts, and of course, dancing at your own discretion. The Lorraine Boccardo Theater will be transformed into an authentic piece of city nightlife. This affair is not a show, or a concert, or merely a night out. A Night at the Beluga is an Experience.
The tables are only small enough to fit two, so if you’re a cool cat, be sure to bring a fine feline, or make the party as big as you want! Non-VIP tickets are sold as Tables for 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. For your information, we are no longer socially distancing. If you’re not vaccinated, we suggest you wear a mask inside our building when you’re not partaking of the refreshments. Getting COVID at this point, or any point, would be a real bummer.
A VIP Ticket will get you your own luxury lounge seating, elevated above the crowd on a platform shared by your group and another VIP group. A single VIP ticket gets you enough space for 3 or 4 people. If you have more than 4 people coming, you’ll need to buy 2 VIP tickets to get the whole platform. A whole platform (2 VIP tickets) can seat 8 people at the most.
Get your groove on with the sounds of “Soul What!?” One of Southern Utah’s most well-recognized and beloved cover bands, this group has curated a set list that pays homage to R’n’B greats, including Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Chaka Khan, and Stevie Wonder. Also showing up on their timeless program are songs by newer artists like Joss Stone, Duffy, and Vintage Trouble. Each member of Soul What!? is an accomplished performer, having a collective resume that spans several decades and multiple genres, coast to coast. Powerhouse vocals, tight harmonies, and thrilling guitar solos, along with rock-steady rhythm make Soul What!? stand out. Witnessing the combination on stage makes for a memorable experience and guarantees a funky evening of pure fun!
