A Diamond Holiday

An inspiring, festive night of dance and musical theater.

Diamond Talent Productions & The Center for the Arts at Kayenta present “A Diamond Holiday.”

“The vision of this holiday event is to create an enchanting, multi-sensory experience from the moment you enter the plaza, to the moment the the corps de ballet takes its final bow. A Diamond Holiday is the most entertaining and moving show for the holidays I have ever seen ~ anywhere. These student dancer/singers are absolutely jaw-dropping!”

—Jan Broberg, Director, CFAK

Step inside an enchanted world. The magic is inside the Lorraine Boccardo Theatre where guests will take their seats to see “A Diamond Holiday,” a festive and captivating dance and musical theatre concert. This spectacular show features scenes from the Nutcracker, Santa’s workshop of toys, angels ushering in the Nativity, the Rockettes, Irish dance and more. The music, song, and dance themes seek to express a spirit of understanding, unity and joy found in every heart, especially at this time of year. The performance features Diamond Talent‘s troupe of highly trained student performers, along with professional dancers and singers with world-class resumés, many of whom got their start at Diamond Talent. Prior to performing on Broadway and in Regional theatres around the country these students have been making the holidays cheery and bright with this special holiday show that sings out lyrics stating, “my Christmas wish is for everyone to have a friend.”

With fire pits ablaze, trees shimmering with lights, and the smell of hot treats and sounds of holiday music filling the air, Kayenta is transformed into a magical wonderland. Enjoy warm drinks and sweet treats as you stroll through the “Enchanted World of Dolls.” Inside the storefront windows along the plaza, young performers come alive as mechanical dolls outfitted in traditional costumes representing countries throughout the world. This beautiful promenade walk-through performance begins one hour before A Diamond Holiday.

Young and old alike will be swept into a joyous holiday mood by these wonderful holiday traditions. The smells, sights and sounds of the season are sure to buoy everyone’s spirits! Come early and enjoy it all!

Performances will be held at 7:30pm on December 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, and 21st. Two matinee performances will begin at 2:00pm on each Saturday, December 14th and 21st.
