In Her Own Hand
In Her Own Hand: The Life and Letters of Mary Hallock Foote, the famous author and artist who revealed women’s authentic experience of the early west in the 19th century, the amazing woman upon whom the novel “Angle of Repose” was based, but never given due credit. See her art and illustrations of the west and hear the significance of her words as a rare connecting thread from the nineteenth century to the twentieth, and a bridge across the continent from west to east.
